BRETT PORTER

President and Chief Operating Officer

Joining Summit Management in 2011, Brett Porter brings a passion for real estate, along with strong business acumen to the SMSI Team. He currently holds the position of President and Chief Operating Officer within the organization, providing knowledge in the areas of accounting, finance, and HR management. Porter earned a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Lake Erie College, and later returned to earn a Master of Business Administration degree through the school’s Parker MBA Program. Prior to joining SMSI, Porter held the position of controller for 6 years with a Northeast Ohio-based construction subcontractor, which provided diverse experience in the areas of strategic, financial, and HR management, banking and financing, as well as risk and loss control. Porter also holds an Ohio Real Estate Salesperson license and is a member of the National Association of Realtors, Ohio Association of Realtors, and Cleveland Area Board of Realtors.
